Filter Vessel Refurbishment
As part of our services at Total Leisure Engineering, we supply, install & maintain swimming pool filter vessels which are a critical component to achieve good water quality. We can even design & manufacture bespoke filter vessels to suit individual client requirements.
One of the key areas in which we specialise, is the total refurbishment of steel construction filter vessels, carrying out works such as:
Filtration media replacement (Sand, Glass, AFM, Carbon).
Re-lining of internal steel shell protective coating.
Repair & renew Internal pipework & underdrain systems.
Ultrasonic testing to measure steel thickness & integrity.
Detailed Inspection & condition reports.
Structural repairs to steel shell.
Re-commissioning & de-commissioning.
Preventative service & maintenance packages.
Installation of viewing windows.
Convert existing Ozone vessels for use as filter vessels.

TLE have invested heavily in the equipment and skills required to carry out all major aspects of filter vessel refurbishment using in-house resources, so we are not reliant on the use of sub-contractors.
This approach allows us much greater control over the standard & quality of work being carried out, something we believe is key to prolonging the life of a filter vessel.
One of the major considerations for our clients is how to minimise disruption to the daily operation of the pool.
We fully understand this and where there are multiple filters present, it is often possible to phase the works in such a way to keep the pool open, even while filter refurbishment works are in progress.
The Pool Water Treatment Advisory Group
Recommend internal inspection of filter vessels at least once a year in order to assess their overall condition
Steel filter vessels will provide many years of service if correctly maintained following periodic inspection & service.
The Pool Water Treatment Advisory Group (PWTAG) recommend internal inspection of filter vessels at least once a year in order to assess their overall condition.
The duration between filter refurbishment works is as per our sheet.
