Chemical Treatment Systems
Chemicals and associated dosing equipment/control systems form a crucial element of a swimming pool water treatment system. Dosing of chemicals should be an automated process. With continuous monitoring, you will achieve & maintain the desired concentration of disinfectant in the water. Choosing the correct chemicals and dosing systems is key when striving to provide a high level of water quality. Factors such as chemical consumption, ease of maintenance, and simplicity of use should also be considered.

If you are looking for replacement or installation of a complete dosing system, our engineers will be happy to help. Chemical systems comprise some of the more labour intensive aspects of a swimming pool system. From daily testing, calibration & topping up of chemical products, regular tasks of equipment strip-down, cleaning and replacement of serviceable items. The many complexities can be difficult to manage, leading to unreliability. Problems experienced with chemical dosing can result in pool closure, therefore a regular schedule of service & maintenance is highly recommended.
Total Leisure Engineering can help with all your service & maintenance requirements. We offer service packages at intervals to suit the client’s needs. These packages come complete with comprehensive reports which highlight areas of concern and allow preventative action to be carried out. As part of this service package, we provide telephone back-up and emergency call-out. Our engineers also carry a large stock of spare parts with them so that common issues can be rectified quickly.
A typical chemical systems service & maintenance visit would take place
every 6 – 12 months and would include the following:
Thorough operational check of all equipment.
Check for any leaks to dosing lines & equipment.
Rectify minor issues & replace serviceable items.
Strip & clean sample cells / monitoring systems.
General clean down of equipment.
Inspect ancillary items to chemical systems.
Provide detailed reports with recommendations.
Provide competitive quotes for equipment / work.
